Mark Prater has received Sherwin-Williams' Coastal Area New Store Manager of the Year Award for sales achievements at the company's Florence, S.C., store. The Augusta native and company employee since 2003 was promoted to store manager of the Sherwin-Williams Martinez store in January. Roger Whitaker , a project superintendent for Kirby Fahrion & Associates, has achieved the American Institute of Constructors' Level II Professional Constructor certification for achievements in knowledge, dedication and professionalism to the construction business. Recipients must also have at least 11 years of supervisory construction experience to receive the certification. William Dunn Wansley , the president and CEO of J.C. Dunn Properties, has received the 2007 Preservation Honor from the Central Savannah River Land Trust for achievements in "the preservation of our natural landscape for the generations" by permanently protecting Cedar Dunn at Cobbham.
